Matt Zenthoefer

Matt Zenthoefer joins CDx as the new Director of Engineering. With over two decades of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from CU Boulder, Matt has a proven track record in both hardware and software development. His career highlights include advancing to Director of Hardware Engineering at SCRAM Systems. Matt is excited to lead our Engineering team, focusing on the advancement of our Accupath products and driving innovation in our partnership with Hamilton, particularly in the food safety market. We are thrilled to have Matt on board and look forward to his contributions to our future success.

Peg Cahoon

Peg provides the leadership in our Laboratory Operations, along with our Manufacturing entities in our Ohio operations. Peg brings decades of leadership and successful global expansion skills. Her past Manufacturing Management roles include several Fortune 500 companies, where she provided the leadership for fast tracking expansion and growth. Peg provides cutting-edge technologies to our consumable lines that will align us with our global expansion plans.

Tom Germon

Tom has a long tenure at CDx. He has also touched, in some way, every aspect of our business to include IT, Engineering, design and prototyping. Tom overseas all aspects of our design within our Robotics line of equipment. Tom’s keen ability to understand novel and disruptive technologies provides CDx with the latest and most cutting-edge devices and testing protocols available to the Foodborne Pathogen Testing industry.

Dr. Gary Niehaus
Laboratory Operations - Ohio
Dr. Gary is responsible for what CDx is today. Since our inception, Dr. Gary has been instrumental in our relationships with the Liquid Crystal Institute at Kent State University, as well as our Laboratory at NEOMED (Northeastern Ohio Medical College). Our belief is that he is the original “Godfather” of Liquid Crystal testing in Foodborne Pathogens! Dr. Gary oversees the team responsible for managing and executing innovative projects. He provides leadership, guidance, and strategic direction to ensure the successful development and implementation of new technologies and solutions in food safety testing.
